When it comes to inspiration photos, I always explain to clients, I will do my best for it to look the same but I am not that artist, your hair is not their hair in the photo, and we have no idea what products they use! However I have never had someone walk away displeased with their hairdo! Sometimes I hear...“you did it better!”
“I would never have thought you would get it that close”
“omg! I was so nervous we wouldn’t get it close but you did!”
Also if you have been my client forever you know how bad I am about taking photos and then actually following through and posting them! However this one!!!! This one when I was complete, I was so proud of myself how spot on it was! I nailed it! The client was thrilled and I was over the moon! 😊🙌🏽🌙
I love, love, love styling! While I am not accepting new clients, I knew the amount of styling I would miss out on by turning away new clients and it absolutely bums me out! However it was so exciting and fun to be able to style someone for a wedding!

[06/30/20] Hello humans!!
It is with heavy heart to share that Anna-Lynn's Grandmother passed away over the weekend. She was amongst family during her final days and was as comfortable as we could possibly make her. She is now pain free and with her eternal Lord so rejoice and be happy that she is where she strove her whole life to be!!
With that being said, we wanted to provide a REOPENING UPDATE! We are planning for Divine Cortex to reopen on Monday, July 20th. This will allow a few weeks to wrap things up and finish our preparations at the salon to provide you all with a safe space to once again have your hair done! Over the next couple weeks we will be connecting with all of you amazing clients to begin setting the schedule for our return. For those of you do not get contacted within the week, be on the lookout for another post which will notify you when we will begin accepting calls/texts again. This gives us time to contact our backlog of requested appointments. Once those clients are set on the schedule, our availability for new appointments will be more clear. We will get back to you as soon as possible and make sure you are booked! We are excited to see you all again soon and look forward to making everyone the best versions of themselves they can be!!

[06/09/20] We are definitely going to re-open Divine Cortex Salon.
That being said, due to the close proximity with clients that stylists have to face, we are delaying our opening until we feel that we can give our customers the quality of haircare service they expect and deserve.
Anna Lynn is also serving as a caretaker for her Grandmother, who was placed in Hospice care just days ago. Once she has finished her service, we will assess the current data and safety standards to present a reasonable date for the re-opening of the salon.
Thanks again, we miss you all!! Looking forward to seeing everyone soon!!
